The heart of the Nanoco Technologies proposition is our unique ability to manufacture semiconductor nanoparticles, “quantum dots”, in sufficient volume to achieve economies of scale, and to consistent emission wavelength standards.
Our stock quantum dots, the NanoDots™ range, are tuned to emit different colours in the visible spectrum. Our NanoDots™, composed of cadmium selenide and zinc sulphide, are new core-shell structures.which provide enhanced stability over other commercially-available quantum dots, The capping agent is a long-chain organic compound hexadecylamine (HDA), which provides enhanced longevity and stability, particularly in a solid state.
Any volume or combination of products from the NanoDots™ range can be ordered for immediate dispatch. NanoDots™ are supplied in a toluene solution.
